Can't remember how to stream!!!!!

  • Hello everyone. Her is my situation. My xbox is connected to my puter via cross-over cable and it's own seperate NIC card. Before I started pissing around with things everything was great. I was streaming video through my xbox from my computer and life was good. Then, for some reason or another I decided to upgrade my XBMC software and now my xbox ain't speaking to my puter anymore and the bitch of it is I cannot for the life of me remember what to do. Any help, PLEASE!!!???


  • lookup add source in the wiki you would want to add a network location under smb


  • make sure that your pc and xbox are on the same network series ex. 192.168.2.xx or 192.168.1.xx then make sure you have the gateway setting in xbmc set to the ip address of your pc. not much more of it then that. unless you have your network shares password protected.


  • did you create a source for it in my videos section?

  • Well, it looks like my computer and the xbox are "connecting" but I can't find a way to access my shared folders on my computer from the xbox. I can't remember how to set that up.
