Immigration marriage documents needed?

  • can any1 help my fiance has recenly been deported back to india he is indian national i am brittish i am unsure on what documents i may need for interview when applying for spouse visa some peopl say i may need savings account staements house hold bills birth certificate pay slips letters from my family members stating we are a real couple photos and so on does any1 no what documents i will need to provide to the authorities in india after our marriage also does my partner need any sort of id to apply for special marriage liscience will it be easy for him to apply for a passport after being deported alsowill it take long to bring him back to uk

  • which part of india is he frm, reasons for deporting only after seeing ur documents we can say if it is possible or not.


  • what you should have had to show - was joint names on bank accounts, joint names on lease, mortage and bills, joint names on car documents and named each other in your wills.

    to show that your affairs were entwined.

    if he is deported, he will not be able to come back to UK easily.


  • Certificate of marriage / Joint affidavit etc.


  • Overstayed his welcome did he. I personally am sick of foreigners abusing the nicety of this country and I don't know when it will all end.

    racist is it. Why is it with you people you instantly come out with caustic spiel. We still have some freedom of speech or would the likes of you have that removed. By the way your grammar and spelling are attrocious.


  • UK has recently tightened its rules for visas of various kinds. Effectively it means that you will have to provide better and more comprehensive documentation to prove that you and your spouse are willing to live in the UK for a long time. I think it may still be possible for your spouse to come back to UK although it is advisable here that you should check the Home Office's website.
